From competition to coaching.
Born in Ilam, Iran, Hamed began Taekwondo in childhood. He competed in Iran’s club system and international tournaments before developing his coaching work in Europe.
His sporting record includes a British Open gold medal in 2008 and an Indian international tournament gold medal in 2010. In 2009, ISNA named him in Iran’s Hope team for the Fajr Cup.
Teaching in France and Switzerland.
Hamed’s coaching work includes Koryo Taekwondo Club and school activities. Koryo has classes in Geneva, Vaud and the Pays de Gex.
He created TaekFunDo to introduce young children to Taekwondo through movement, games and storytelling.
Work beyond the class.
His publications examine gamified martial arts and AI-assisted storytelling in children’s Taekwondo. The research page links to the original papers, including their methods and limitations.
His other projects include MyTaek, a digital Taekwondo project, and Safranée, a venture focused on Persian saffron products.
